Do you know hexagon head bolts?

2022-02-24

Hexagon head bolts are commonly used screws in machinery, which have the advantages of easy fastening and disassembly, and not easy to slip angles. Hex wrenches are generally 90 degrees, with one end long and one end short. When using a screw with the short side, holding the long side saves a lot of force and tightens the screw better. The manufacturing cost of the outer hexagon head bolt is much lower than that of the inner hexagon head bolt. Its advantage is that the screw head (the force position of the wrench) is thinner than the inner hexagon, and some places cannot be replaced by the inner hexagon. In addition, low-cost, low-power-strength, and low-precision machines require fewer socket head bolts than socket head bolts.

Hexagon head bolts are divided into outer hexagon bolts and inner hexagon screws, which are usually used to fasten mechanical equipment. Hex head bolts are externally threaded fasteners with hex heads designed to be turned with a wrench. The outer side of the hexagon head bolt is a round head, the middle is a concave hexagon, and the outer hexagon screw is a common hexagon head bolt. Hexagon socket head bolts look like a '7' and are cut into two sections with hex rebar and bent at 90 degrees to form a socket head cap screw wrench.

Hexagon head bolts are generally made of stainless steel, and a layer of antioxidants is formed on the surface. The material is added with molybdenum, which has good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and rust resistance, and the strength can reach 4.8. It is often used in general cold room processing and drawing, and its corrosion resistance is well used in seawater and some production with chemical media. The round surface stainless steel of the hexagon head bolt can play a good anti-corrosion effect even when used in wet water. There is no residual burr on the surface, and it is not easy to slip when fixed and rotated. The deep design of the thread is more uniform during use, and the thread teeth are more uniform. Sharp, so as to achieve a firm effect.
