Anti-corrosion link of
hexagon bolts
For the use of heavy hexagon bolts, anti-corrosion treatment is an extremely important link, but there are several methods of anti-corrosion treatment at present, and different anti-corrosion treatment methods are used for different anti-corrosion requirements.
1. Oxidation
When the bolt is black, it basically has no ability to prevent rust, so once there is no oil, it will rust immediately. In order to reduce its oxidation, you can apply some grease on the thread during assembly and then screw it together.
2. Zinc
Zinc-hardening is a solid metallurgical thermal diffusion coating of zinc powder. This coating has good uniformity and can cover even the inside of threads and blind holes, and is environmentally friendly and pollution-free during the treatment process.
3. Electro galvanized
This is a common anti-rust treatment process for heavy-duty hexagonal bolts. However, electro-galvanizing is prone to hydrogen embrittlement during the treatment process, and the consistency is also relatively poor. Therefore, bolts with this treatment process on the surface are generally not used for the fastening of important parts. and connect.
4. Electroplating of cadmium
Cadmium coating has good anti-corrosion performance, especially in marine climate environment, its anti-corrosion performance is relatively good, but the cost of this treatment method is relatively high, especially in the upper limit of waste liquid treatment, so the bolts for general industry use are relatively high. Use this anti-rust treatment method sparingly.
5. Electroplating chrome
Chromium plating is chemically stable in the atmospheric environment, and has good gloss retention, high hardness and wear resistance, but this treatment process is generally suitable for decoration.
